"We recently changed our homeowner's insurance to State Farm. As a benefit, it provides us with TING service. Almost immediately upon installation, TING began providing us with reports that an electrical problem jeopardized the safety of our home. TING further provided a letter to send to our utility company indicating its findings and recommending action. I sent the letter and also called. Within 30 minutes, our utility company dispatched a crew who quickly verified the information sent to us in the report from TING and fixed the problem. We had been aware of a problem and had an electrician come about two weeks before installing TING. He tested our panel and said the flicker in the lights in our home and the brown-out conditions were not a result of a faulty panel, but he did not have any recommendations. Our utility company discovered the fault quickly and replaced the feed from the transformer to our electric meter. Since then, there have been no flickering lights or brownout situations. We are deeply indebted to State Farm Insurance and TING, without whose help we could have suffered significant loss."
